Security at games is critical for everyone

AFL FANS ASSOCIATION (AFLFA): “GIVING FOOTY FANS A VOICE”

The AFL Fans Association is concerned at the incident last night at the Collingwood v Carlton game where two men were arrested allegedly having guns in their possession.

Ron Issko, President of the AFLFA, said, " We are awaiting an explanation from the AFL as to how this could have occurred given the tight security checks at the MCG.”

“If any adjustments need to be made to security checks at all grounds, fans will certainly accommodate” Ron said.

Ron stated, “We have the best game and fans in the world and fans should feel safe to attend AFL matches without being worried about being exposed to guns.”

AFLFA membership is free, and fans are encouraged to join at www.aflfans.org.au
