The AFL Fans Association has expressed its shock and sadness at the loss of respected Adelaide Crows coach Phil Walsh. The organisation sends its deepest sympathies and condolences to all those who knew him.
All football fans, regardless of who they support, are shocked and saddened by the sudden loss of Phil, who took over as Crows senior coach this year.
“On behalf of all AFL fans, we extend our sincere sympathy to the Walsh family and all involved with the Adelaide Football Club,” AFL Fans Association president Gerry Eeman said today.
“Fans of all clubs respected Phil Walsh as a dedicated and talented football person, who genuinely cared about those around him. He did the hard yards as an assistant coach and was progressing well in his first senior role. His untimely and tragic loss will be sorely felt by everyone who knew him and followed his career.”
