2018 Fan Forum

Fans to have their say in first AFL Fans Association forum.

A ground-breaking forum run by fans for fans will give them a say on AFL issues affecting them.

The AFL Fans Association will run the free forum at Richmond Football Club’s Maurice Rioli Room in the Swinburne Centre at Punt Road Oval on Sunday, 24 June, so fans can tell the AFLFA what’s important to them.

Richmond has donated the venue and the Victorian Women’s Trust has helped to organise the event.

Those attending will voice their views on a range of topics, such as what they like about the game, affordability and the match day experience, with outcomes compiled into a report to be presented to the AFL.

All fans are welcome but are asked to register their attendance at the following weblink: Register Here.

AFLFA president Gerry Eeman says this exciting initiative will give grassroots supporters a unique opportunity to have their views recorded and heard.

“Fans are the AFL’s biggest stakeholder and they know the game well,” Gerry says. “The Forum will provide a great opportunity to have in depth discussions about all things AFL. We want to hear about how fans feel about the game in 2018, both good and bad.”

Victorian Women’s Trust Executive Director Mary Crooks AO is helping to organise the forum and will attend with AFLFA patron Susan Alberti AC. Entry is free.
